Method 1: Power Cycle Tv and Router
First of all, We have to completely shut down both the Tv and the router. To debug the generic bug and glitch. For instance, a temporary issue disappears after a complete shutdown.
Make sure you unplug your Tv and router but do not disconnect the ethernet cable. You only have to unplug the power cord of both the router and the tv. After that, wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

If WiFi is not connecting on your smart, try connecting tv with an ethernet cable. In addition, the smart tv performs better on a wired connection.
My tv keeps disconnecting and this time it won’t connect at all it says my WiFi is turned off and doesn’t display my home WiFi when I go to network. I have J6300 model

Ive had this same problem for the past 4 years but this past year it’s gotten so much worse can’t watch a show more than 15 mins without it disconnecting and not working. Just switch from LG. It’s sad that my Walmart Onn brand TV functions flawlessly compared to the LG. I had 0 issues the first couple months with my LG tv can’t believe I paid $800 for the piece of crap. I only keep it because I have my DVD player connected to it and it hopes that one day I will find a solution plus it’s. 65” and to get another 65” ain’t cheap. I will never buy another LG product ever again. Waste of money.

Same thing here! Both my 2 LG TVs also keeps constantly disconnecting from wifi now. It’s only started recently and none of my other devices in the house have the issue. I’ve tried all the steps recommended above 100 times and am SIC of it.

Contacted LG. What a joke that was! Now they want to send a tech out?!?!?
It happent to me and i did everything befor i contacted LG help desk. They suggested me to replace wifi module. I replaced it and worked for 2 years and again it has got same issue now. Tried everything, no luck. Not replacing the wifi module again and not buying lg product ever again.
